Chess System

  • Play chess directly in Discord — vs the built-in bot or challenge another player
  • Each game gets its own dedicated lobby channel under a Chess Lobbies category, auto-deleted when the game ends
  • Board is rendered as an image with move highlights and check indicators
  • Bot AI prioritizes captures, otherwise plays a random legal move
  • chess register — creates a profile with a unique Chess ID tied to your Discord account
  • chess stats — generates a stats card image showing avatar, Chess ID, wins, losses, draws, win rate, and a visual W/L/D bar
  • Stats are tracked across all games
  • chess setup <max> — admin-only, sets max concurrent lobbies (1–20), category and channels created automatically
